Nonprofit Partnership "Giveback" Program

Be Caffeinated x Be The Change Youth Initiative

A New Kind of Give Back Partnership

For years, (Be)Caff’s Give Back Program has supported Chattanooga nonprofits through profit-sharing and access to our spaces. In 2026, we’re expanding that commitment in a bold new way through a partnership with Be The Change Youth Initiative’s Ambassadors of Change program—a youth-led leadership initiative empowering high school students to create real change in their communities. Giveback Partners can expect the same benefits of our traditional program, plus the added collaboration with industry peers and youth-leaders.

Together, we’re thinking beyond just one-time fundraising. We’re building year-round partnerships that invest directly in Chattanooga’s next generation of leaders creating lasting impact and support for local nonprofits.

Why This Collaboration Matters

Be The Change Youth Initiative believes students aren’t just “the leaders of tomorrow”—they’re leading today. The Ambassadors of Change program gives high school students real decision-making power, real budgets, and real projects that directly impact their community in Hamilton County.

By partnering with these young leaders, we’re investing in a more connected, compassionate, and community-driven Chattanooga.

This isn’t just giving back, it’s giving forward.
It’s
growing up a generation of changemakers.

What’s It Mean to Be Involved?

1. Traditional Month-Long Partner Benefits

As a Giveback Partner, organizations still receive the classic benefits such as month-long profit-sharing initiatives, audience visibility through social media collabs and informational presence at all locations, and free use of our Northshore and/or Rossville locations for events. We’ve hosted everything from coffee meets to adoption events, bingo nights, art gallery showings, concerts… just to name a few.

2. A Year-Long Youth Leadership & Impact Partnership

In addition to the traditional benefits of being a Giveback Partner, BTCYI Ambassadors of Change will work with your organization throughout the entire year on a project with direct community-impact goals. Participating organizations should have the capacity to foster this internship-style relationship with their youth leaders.

3. Monthly Cohort Meetings

As part of our expanded Give Back partnership, Be Caffeinated will host monthly gatherings for staff members from all eleven participating nonprofits—creating space for collaboration, shared learning, and real community-building. Meetings may include talks from industry experts, or themed around a particular conversational topic. Participating organizations are asked to send at least one staff member to each gathering.

The Importance of Cohort- style Partnerships

Nonprofit work is meaningful, and it can also feel isolating. We understand most teams operate with limited staff, stretched capacities, and big missions. This cohort changes that dynamic by giving leaders and staff a consistent, welcoming place to connect. Together we lift each other up through shared resources, inspirations, and ultimately show up stronger for our missions.

The Selection Process

Partnerships are selected through a strategic application focusing on grassroots, high-impact organizations serving members of Hamilton County and the surrounding areas. Organizations should be ready to actively participate raising the tides of our work- together.

Considerations include:

  • Budget size
  • Mission alignment
  • Impact & reach
  • Capacity for collaboration
  • Youth engagement opportunities

Each yearly cohort will include 11 local non-profit organizations.

Participation regardless of selection outcome:

The 11 selected member organizations will be assigned a BTCYI Youth Ambassador, and a month-long spotlight with (Be)Caff Coffee Co. However, even if your organization isn’t chosen for the full program, you can still participate in two meaningful ways.

1. Youth Fundraising Packet for Your Organization

If you have a high school student already affiliated with your organization who would like to become an Ambassador of Change, we will create a custom Youth Fundraising Packet (for ages 5–17) specifically for your nonprofit.

This packet equips young leaders with tools to:

  • share your mission
  • raise funds on your behalf
  • learn leadership, communication, and community-building skills
  • and contribute to your organization’s impact in a tangible way

Your nonprofit still receives the benefit of youth-led support, and we’re happy to help provide the framework.

2. Participation in the Cohort meetings

Organizations are always welcome to participate in the monthly cohort meetings.

You'll have access to:

  • shared learning opportunities
  • cross-organization collaboration
  • relationship-building with other nonprofit staff
  • a supportive community of peers doing similar work

No one gets left out of the mission.

Everyone has a place to contribute.

This is not about exclusivity—it’s about strengthening the nonprofit ecosystem as a whole.
